Published - Wednesday, June 18, 2008 HMS principal among two finalasts for G-E-T superintendent job GALESVILLE — The Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau School District has narrowed its search for a new head administrator to two final candidates: Lisa Snyder, principal at Holmen Middle School, and Troy Gunderson, principal at West Salem High School. Final interviews will be held Wednesday and Thursday at the high school and district office building, located in Galesville. Public meetings with the finalists will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the high school library with Snyder in attendance Wednesday and Gunderson there on Thursday. The Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau School Board will meet in closed session Thursday after the interviews to discuss the candidates and continue the selection process, a district spokeswoman said. The Trempealeau County school district began looking for a new leader when Superintendent Craig Gerlach accepted the same position for the Monona Grove School District in Monona, Wis., a suburb of Madison, earlier this year. He will start the new job July 1.
