An upcoming free event — called "Catch the Culture: An Inventor and Entrepreneur Rendezvous" — aims to provide a regional forum for new and existing business owners to share ideas, connect with like-minded people and learn business skills from successful business owners in the region and state.

The event will run from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 26, at the Clearly Alumni & Friends Center on the UW-L campus. Participants can come and go as they like during the event.

Keynote speakers include: Stuart Anders, president and CEO of Allied Industries, LLC, and Ivan Davis, serial entrepreneur and leader in the movement toward community-oriented business.

Space for non-profit organizations, members of I&E Clubs, and sponsors is available at no charge. Reservations must be made in advance. For-profit exhibitor space is available for a fee. To reserve space or become a conference sponsor, call Stephen Woessner at the SBDC at 785-8783.

Admission is free and the event is open to the public. Pizza, snacks, and beverages will be provided. Registration for the event is preferred.

To register, contact your local I&E club, or the Small Business Development Center at 785-8783.
