The Sarah Ann Mullenbach Mixed Scramble will become the title sponsor of the Three Rivers Golf Association Juniors circuit, effectively immediately.
The SAMMS is a local memorial for Sarah Mullenbach, a state-level golfer who was killed in a car accident in July 2004. The scramble is designed for adults and youth golfers.
“Her demeanor and spirit are what we want to keep celebrating and keep alive in our own lives, as well as the lives of our youth,” SAMMS TRGA Juniors director Margaret “Squib” Olsen said.
Money raised by the scramble goes to benefit local families in need of assistance. The scramble will be played July 21 at Cedar Creek in Onalaska. To register or further information, contact Mark Schneider at 317-9711, Anne Curtis at 780-5038 or Sandi Auseth at 526-4215.
